L’EFFRAIE 2006

Domaine de Bellivière’s first white wine, it is a lively, expressive wine. The nose, with floral notes of persimmon loquat, whets the appetite. The palate, lively, fresh and sapid calls for the second glass. It is a disheveled wine, but with a precise and controlled writing, a beautiful introduction to Eric Nicolas’ calligraphy.

L’Effraie is a blend of Chenin vines less than fifty years old in the Coteaux du Loir appellation, spread over three communes. The soil is composed of flint clay on tufa, the vines are managed biodynamically. In the winery, vinification is carried out in a natural way in barrels.
