This cuvée stands out for its finesse and dynamism whatever the vintage. It is a taut wine, driven by a certain fervour. A unique expression of Chenin, which we particularly appreciate. A wine with enormous ageing potential, like Philippe Foreau’s Vouvrays. In 2003, the wine was very rich, which gave it its semi-dry character.

The Vieilles Vignes Eparses are a blend of Chenin vines aged between 50 and 80 years, scattered over several communes. Terroir of flint clay on tufa. Manual harvest with yields of around 25hl/ha. Natural vinification in barrels (1/4 new wood), ageing for a minimum of one year
