Great news: Mireille is back! The Mireille, the only Mireille! La Callas de Barsac. The great winemaker of the Cru Barréjats. A few years ago, we announced the end of the Cru Barréjats. Today, at the cost of painful legal battles, Mireille has been able to recover the historic plots of the estate, the very ones given to her by her grandfather. First harvest in 2010 with two barrels of the long-awaited jewel. Mireille has not changed her manner, her direction, her interpretation of the score: tillage, meticulous sorting, very small yields, fermentation on indigenous yeasts and long ageing in barrels. Beyond the precision of the vinifications, it is the beauty of the plots located in Menate, Andoys and Barréjats that brings the finesse and airy character of the wine, so typical of the beautiful terroirs of Barsac.

In 2013 the wine has a delicious fruit, a more airy balance than 2010 and 2011 and will be perfect to taste while waiting for the other vintages to be made.
