The vines of La Fresnaye have the particularity of being located on a vein of limestone resting on the shale base typical of Anjou Noir. It is therefore quite rare to find Cabernet Franc on such a typology. Here two vines are blended, one planted in 1997 and the other in the early 50s. It is an Anjou with a fine, delicate tannin grain, with the freshness of limestone. A very nice bottle to enjoy in its youth or to drink over ten years.
