Gevrey-Chambertin 1er cru “Les Corbeaux”
Plot of 22 ares composed of a 35-year-old vine for 2/3 and a small part of it over 70 years old. The vineyard is located at the foot of the hillside upstream from the Route des Grands Crus at the exit of the village, just before Les Mazis-Chambertin. It is built on limestone slabs with entroques for its lower part.
Far from the earthy character that is often attributed to the crus of this village, theestate’s Gevrey-Chambertin 1er cru Les Corbeaux benefits from the fresh air flows of the Lavaux valley which bring balance, finesse and a more airy side. The wine always expresses itself with beautiful fruit and a lot of precision in the tannic structure.
