The Hermannshöhle has been recognized for more than a century as the largest terroir in the Nahe. It is a superb steep hillside, facing south, a mixture of grey schist and volcanic rock (porphyry). It makes it possible to produce huge rieslings in dry as well as semi-dry and sweet. 60-year-old vines Manual harvest – yields 40hl/ha Fermentation and ageing in stainless steel vats and oak barrels.
