The Cornillard is a very beautiful parcel of the estate that produces powerful wines, with a resinous nose and a mineral and dense mouth, somewhat reminiscent of the wines of Savennières.
In the 2004 vintage, a beautiful freshness leads to a tight and dense whole, displaying a beautiful maturity. It is a meal wine, which calls for a beautiful piece of veal and will improve over 4 to 5 years.

The vines located in Ardennay are 30 to 50 years old, with a southern exposure, and a steep slope. The subsoil is composed of very old shales from the Pre-Cambian.
Fermentation (with total malolactic) and ageing in barrels of 2 to 3 wines.
Acquired alcohol: 14.1° – residual sugars: 3.7g/l
